唯有尊重自己的人 ,才能勇於縮小自己

人都是在原諒自己的那一分鐘開始懈怠

  1. Nothing is impossible with confident, perseverance, and courage

信心、毅力、勇氣,三者具備天下沒有做不成的事

  1. To appreciate others is to dignify ourselves.

欣賞他人,即是莊嚴自己

  1. If we can reduce our desires, there is nothing really worth getting upset about.

人生若能減低欲望,生活上便沒有什麼值得計較!

  1. Realize you are blessed, and cherish these blessings. Then continue to cultivate more blessings.

知福、惜福、再造福

  1. Be careful and mindful when dealing with others, but not narrow-minded.

為人處事要小心、細心,但不要「小心眼」﹗

  1. To have two good hands but refuse to work is no different than having no hands at all.

雙手健全卻不肯做事的人,等於是沒有手的人

  1. Speak good words, have good thoughts, do good deeds, and walk the right path.

口說好話,心想好意,身行好事,腳走好路

  1. To willing undergo hardships for the sake of others is compassion.

不辭勞苦的付出,便是「慈悲」

  1. In the face of adversity, be grateful, for such opportunities do not come by easily.

碰到逆境時,應心生感激,這是可遇不可求啊﹗

  1. When conflict and adversity arise, always preserve a spacious heart.

逆境、是非來臨,心中要持一「寬」字

  1. Believe in yourself, but do not be attached to your own point of view.

人應該相信自己,但是不可以執著

  1. Practice mindfulness in your daily life. A mind free of wandering thoughts develops inner strength.

把專心變成一種習慣,心不散亂就是定力

  1. Remain soft-spoken and forgiving, even when reason is on your side.

裡直要氣和,得理要饒人

  1. There is no one on earth I cannot love, trust, and forgiving.

普天之下,沒有我不愛的人,沒有我不信任的人,也沒有我不原諒的人

  1. The more mistrust we feel, the less confidence we have.

多一分對他人的疑慮,就少一分對自己的信心

  1. The greater our generosity is, the greater our blessings are.

心量大福報就大

  1. Let go of all attachment; only then will you receive something.

捨得、捨得,能捨才能得

  1. To give with joy is to help others with a happy mood.

付出勞力又歡喜,便叫做「喜捨」

  1. Be mindful, not worried or perturbed.

要用心,不要操心、煩心

  1. Compete only for good. Race against time; fight for every second.

爭,只能「爲善競爭」、「與時日競爭」

  1. People often feel upset because they take careless remarks too seriously.

有些人常常起煩惱–因為別人一句無心的話,他卻有意的接受

  1. Giving with an expectation for return brings misery.

如果有所付出就想有所回報,將會招來煩惱

  1. Greed brings not only misery, but also destruction.

「貪」不但帶來痛苦,也使人墮落

  1. It is more of a blessing to serve others than to be served.

能爲人服務比被人服務有福

  1. To forgiving once is to be blessed once. The more generosity we show, the more blessing we enjoy.

多原諒人一次,就多造一次福﹔把量放大,福就大

  1. Those who sow the seed of blessings shall harvest plentiful blessings.

自造福田,自得福緣

  1. Be forgiving towards others. Be discreet in your speech.

對人要寬心,講話要細心

  1. Be grateful to your parents and to all sentient beings every day. Don’t make them disappointed.

每天要感謝父母與眾生,一生所做不要辜負父母與眾生

  1. Social order rests on family education .Family education rests on individual integrity.

社會型態源自於家庭教育,家庭教育源自於個人修養

  1. Tranquility is beauty. Equanimity is joy.

寧靜最美,安定最樂

  1. One evil thought plants an evil karmic seed: one good thought results in good karmic fruit.

一念之非即中惡因,一念之是即是善果

  1. A life of ease with no goal, all play will cause one to lose courage and determination.

人之所以缺乏毅力、勇氣,是因為好逸惡勞、玩物喪志

  1. Just like dripping water that can penetrate stone, patience and persistence can break through anything, no matter how great the difficulty is.

恆心毅力如能「滴水穿石」,再大的困難與阻礙都能突破

  1. One must overcome difficulties, not be overcome by difficulties.

人要克服難,不要被難克服

  1. True blessings flow from our ability to love, and be loved by others.

有力量去愛人或被愛的人,都是幸福的人

  1. Love all sentient beings with a mother’s heart. Teach our children with Bodhisattva’s wisdom.

以媽媽心愛天下的眾生,以菩薩的智慧教育子女

  1. Every achievement grows out of the seed of determination.

任何事都是從一個決心、一粒種子開始

  1. Do not underestimate your ability; everyone has unlimited potential.

不要小看自己,因為人有無限的可能

  1. To take life easy is not a negative attitude but a happy and positive one.

所謂看開人生,不是悲觀,而是積極樂觀;不是看破,而是看透

  1. Giving will reap the greatest harvest.

付出,就是最大的收穫

  1. Giving is more blessed than receiving.

能施與的人比受施的人更有福

  1. The more we give, the more we accomplish.

多一份付出,就能多一份成就

  1. A resolution must be expressed with action, not just words.

發心要發在腳底上,不是發在口中,只說不行

  1. With good intentions come blessings, with strong vows comes strength.

有心就有福,有願就有力
